  1. 2011, February : MISPA Meeting with RCIP-MW Feasibility Study Consultants - Scanbi-Invest - Ref: MCIP-Malawi final report (PDF-5MB)
  2. 2010, May : Privatisation Commission (PC-MW) meeting with MISPA called by PC-MW to give MISPA an update on the Malawi Regional Communications Infrastructure Project (RCIP) implementation in Malawi. This meeting was followed by another meeting on 18 May 2010 at PC-MW and involving MISPA, PC-MW and a World Bank Team that visited Malawi on the RCIP project.

  3. 2010 May 10 : MISPA meeting with Google: Meeting was requested by Google on their first ever official visit to Malawi for the purpose of discussing the possibility of deploying a Google Cache Server in the country. The meeting, held at the UNIMA College of Medicine also discussed Googles request for zone file access to the Malawi .mw ccTLD zone so as to open the opportunity for websites on .mw domain to become visible more quickly on Google searches.

    The Malawi Internet Service Providers Association (MISPA) in collaboration with the Internet Society (ISOC) will run a one week advanced Internet Exchange Point (IXP) routing training workshop at the College of Medicine in Blantyre where MISPA is building and operating the Malawi Internet Exchange (MIX). The workshop will have a purpose built laboratory.

    PARTICIPATION: Interested ISPs and qualified Internet engineers need to submit an application to be admitted to attend the workshop.
